Despite an ugly early morning filled with rain, The Woodlands Cars and Coffe for a Cause proceeded without much interference from Mother Nature. With the streets being wet, I knew it would be set for some great photos, so my family and I headed to The Woodlands.
Over by my house, we had some light sprinkle so the wife was wondering if there would be any cars there. Well, I had already checked the event page on Facebook and saw some cars were already on display so we headed out. Since the gathering had already begun, I continued my routine of late by starting from the back side of the event to capture any rides that may have an early departure. It was all clear here rain wise, so I grabbed my camera and started my coverage as my family headed to Starbuck for some food. If you haven’t made it out to this event yet, Starbucks marks the entrance to the display area for the rides.
I made my rounds capturing the many rides that were out on display, walking back and forth. Considering the weather, the turnout was pretty great for this event. We ended up being out here for a few hours until it was time to go.
Continuing the collection for this quarter, the gathering’s collection went to CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates of Montgomery County. The event is held monthly on the first Sunday of each month free to attend. If you wish to display your ride, The Woodlands Car Club ask for a donation of any size to go in the collection. See you next month!
