My family decided to join me this Sunday morning for the monthly gathering held at Market Street by The Woodlands Car Club. After washing up the Veloster, we all got in and drove up to the Woodlands. Running a few minutes behind the official starting time, I ended up parking on one of the side streets of the shopping center. The parking area was completely pack with a variety of rides.
We walked over to Starbucks to start our breakfast, as soon as I was done I began my coverage. I walked around snapping away and my daughter ended up helping out with some live video coverage of the event for the Houston Streets facebook page. There was plenty of rides out to see, as always some new and some returning.
After we finished one side of Market Street, we took a break in the shade to try to cool down from the heat. Luckily the other side of Market Street had a bit more shade as we continued over to that side. After wrapping up the coverage on that side, I headed back to the main entrance of the event where the DJ was set up. There I enjoyed some laughs as the host, Dana was doing a bit of singing with the DJ. They promised to stop if you helped out and donated to their collection.
This event started the third quarter collections for The Woodlands Car Club which will go towards the Bikers Against Child Abuse. This group exist with the intent to create a safer environment for the abused children. If you liked what you see here, make sure to check out their future events and if displaying your ride, please contribute to the collection. See you then!
