This past Sunday, it was once again time for the monthly gathering of rides at Market Street in the Woodlands for Cars and Coffee for a Cause. I didn’t set my alarm to get up early, so once I woke up, I headed start there to capture what made it out this month.
I didn’t arrive too late, but since I wasn’t in my car, I didn’t bother trying to park my wife’s ride in the display area. I found a spot nearby in the back. Once I parked, I walked over to Market Street to check out which rides made it out this month. To my surprise, I noticed some white tents set up in the streets around the center for a festival to be held within few hours after the morning’s gathering of cars. I didn’t know that right away but soon discovered it later. I headed to the back section in front of HEB to start my coverage this time around, which I have been doing lately.
Since I didn’t arrive before or near the starting time, I figured some of the early arrivals begin to head out soon, so I continued my coverage on the north side of Market Street, in hopes to capture any exiting rides on their way out. Once I was done with that side, I continued the coverage through the remaining parked rides on the south side of Market Street. This time I continued on the exiting side of this section. I worked backwards through the venue this time around to capture any early leavers like, and hopefully, I was able to capture one photo of all the rides that were present during my duration. I continued until I was done snapping each ride that was parked, then I decided to take a few more rounds around the venue for a few extra shots.
For those of you that are not familiar with this event, The Woodlands Car Club host this event on the first Sunday of each month with a collection that helps out local charity organizations. The collections are set up to go to a different organization each quarter, with this quarter’s collection going to Family Promise of Montgomery County. There’s a great mixture of classic and modern muscle combines with some exotics, imports, and rare finds that come out. If you live on the north side, this is one event you should check out.
