First Sunday of the month usually means I am heading out to Market Street in the Woodlands for the monthly gathering of rides there. Cars & Coffee for a Cause hosted by The Woodlands Car Club always has a good display of rides, so when I am available I make sure to head out there to see what shows up. I missed last month, but I made sure to make it out for this month. I arrived a little bit later in the morning with my son coming along to join me.
Once we arrived, we parked on of o the attached side streets and made our way to the back section towards HEB. This month there wasn’t a lot of rides back here, which used to be full of Camaros form the local car clubs. After that, we headed towards the main entrance and continued the coverage from there walking both sides of Market Street. The gathering is mostly comprised of modern and older muscle cars, with a few exotics and imports mixing it up a bit. Once we were down making our ways, we walked back around checking out some of the favorites we had and talked about cars. This is a great family-friendly gathering for all enthusiasts of all ages.
Every quarter, the event host a collection that goes towards a local charity organization. This quarter’s collection is going to Family Promise of Montgomery County which provides food and shelter to families. Not only that, but they help with much more including job search assistance, transportation, clothing and more. As always, this is a get event to attend with a good cause behind it. Make sure to check this event out when you get a chance.
