With all my recent traveling, I’ve missed the few of the past Eat, Sleep, Car Meet events over the past few months. I made sure to make it out to April’s meet, which was my first time attending with the new location on the Southwest side of town. It’s a bit further for me, but I’m used to the area as this is where I grew up. I knew exactly where it was held, even though the stores are different now.
I arrived early to set up our booth at the meet, there were cars already set up and waiting for the meet to begin. It wasn’t too much longer when DJ Mik One kick off the beats and started the meet. It was a pretty cool night, not something we usually expect for the end of April. I hung around the booth for a while and grabbed my kids some food before making my rounds around the meet to snap photos. P.S. the food was good! We ended up getting food from both trucks and some drinks from the Teahouse. My kids like cars, but not as much as myself, so each of them made a trip around the parking lot with me to check out the rides. My son is getting into anime right now, so of course he loved the Itasha rides that were at the meet and took photos of his favorites.
I made a few trips back into the sea of cars as more continued showing up throughout the night. Cars keep arriving until the very end of the meet. This meet’s cause went towards Project Autism, which provides assistance, support, and education to families and professionals affected by autism spectrum disorder. The next meet is slated for May 27, see you then.
