Last Sunday, fellow Houston Streets photographer, Grayson Smaistrla, and I headed out to Gulf Greyhound Park for the Sideways Sunday drift event. However, we left early due to the extreme heat that Texas is so well known for. On our way home however, we stumbled across the group on the Galveston Car Cruise last stop at Quaker Steak and Lube.
Thankfully the sky had clouded over, which made our experience more enjoyable.
To our surprise, the whole parking lot was filled with tastefully modified muscles, tuners, and a few exotics. We also saw a Rocket Bunny GTR enter the lot, but unfortunately were not able to take away as the owner took off immediately.
This build was quite unique. This old Mercury had a twin turbo Coyote 5.0 V8 swapped into it.
After taking our last few pictures, Grayson and I headed out.
