It’s been a long time since I have visited any events hosted at Gateway Classic Cars, I want to say its been several years. The last Saturday of each month, the folks over at Gateway Classic Cars have been hosting their own Cars and Coffee meet. I have seen the event page a few times but I never made the trip to check it out until the last Saturday of April.
I had plans for later that day, but my morning was open, so I headed out to their location to check out the meet. It’s been so long that I have been to their location, I found out Gateway had actually moved, so this was my first time at the Cypress Station location.
When I arrived, there was a decent amount of cars parked outside, the majority of them being domestic vehicles. I think it’s safe to say they were all domestic rides beside the one import that arrived later… plus my Veloster that wasn’t parked near the other rides on display. At first, I simply walked around the outside checking our the cars and proceeded indoors to see what was all here. Before I went too much further, I headed back to grab my camera and start some coverage as I continued my tour of the facilities. Once I was done, I headed back outside to start the real coverage of the meet. This is when the group of Mustangs, at least most of the cars where Mustangs, all left for a cruise they were doing. That was about half the cars, so I just took photos of the rides that were still here.
With fewer cars here, I was able to take some extra photos of the ones that piqued my interested and stuck around longer. I stayed for a couple of hours there, but with not many more cars coming and plans for later that day, I decided to head out early as the event still went on till noon. If you are interested in checking out the meet for yourself, the official time for the meet is 9 am till noon, and they are held on the last Saturday of each month. The meets are also listed on our calendar which you can subscribe too.
Check out the Gateway Cars and Coffee gallery to see more photos from the meet.
