Vintage Park was once again the home to the Houston Cars & Coffee gathering; bring thousands of automotive enthusiasts of all sorts out to one place. Once a month hundreds of classic, modified, and modern vehicles make their way taking over the shopping center for us to walk through and admire the beauties found here.
I started kind of earlier in the morning making rounds snapping pictures, but not as early as some. The lot starts filling up as early as 6 am with some arriving much earlier to guarantee a good parking spot. The official time for the gathering is from 8am till 10 am, but since some come so early and from other sides of Houston, some start making their way out around 8am. Unfortunately I had to leave for our Summer Bash meet preparations, so I know I missed some rides. As soon as business was taken care of, I rushed back to see what else I could catch with my camera.
There’s always a great assortment of vehicles out here including Jeeps, Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, GTR’s, Porsche, BRZ & FRS, and many others. Certain sections of the shopping center looks as if you stumbled into a mini dealership of modified rides all lined up. All not rides out here are modified, some are just rare beauties. This month there was also a big turnout of scooters in the center by the water fountains.
You never know what might come out each month. Some rides you will see every time, some you may see once in a while, and some that may be the only time you see it out here. You are in for a pleasant surprise each month when you come out to Houston Coffee & Cars. First Saturday morning of each month, you may want to set your alarm for this meet, one of Houston’s best gathering for automotive enthusiasts everywhere.
