It was once again time for the famous Houston Cars & Coffee gathering at Vintage Park. I forgot to set my alarm clock this month so I arrived later than usual. I tend to try to make it out earlier, but I come out as soon as I woke up, with was a little after starting time.
The turnout for this event just keeps on getting bigger and bigger as each month progresses. You have to make it out here early if you want a good parking spot. I ended up in the far back, some people even parking in the HEB Center and walk across to partake in this event. The shopping center is starting to reach the limits with the massive turn outs for these gatherings.
The exotics had taken over the center of the shopping center lately, with some of the domestics and jeeps up front. You can almost set up a map of how the vehicles end up gathering to certain sections each month. The guys from Jotech even brought out their Truck and some for their rides to set up on display, they even had some goodies to give out. Later in the event the main entrance is taking over by rides exiting with hundreds of spectators gathering around watching them leave. Even up and down the Louetta and right at the corner of 249 you can find people along the side taking pictures and video of the rides leaving.
There’s always a wide assortment of vehicles out here, and there’s always a few that stand out. I missed it but there was even a guy on a bike that sounded like a jet with tons of smoke following him. Out here on display was even a Renault Turbo and Clio V6. Another ride that caught many people’s attentions was the bagged chromed wrapped Audi TT. There’s always something exciting out here each month, make sure you mark this event on your calendar, it’s easily one of the best in town.
