Event Coverage

This past Sunday, we partnered with Imperial Collision to host a second event at their shop. After a huge turnout at the Model Meet, we figured it would be great to host another event. With the help of the Imperial staff, this event turned out great, in spite of the nasty weather that hit us the night before.

I headed for the shop early so I could get a good parking spot in the show space. As soon as I backed in, I noticed there were already a lot of exotics in the shop as well as outside getting a final detail for the event. I started outside, taking pictures of some of the cars that were in the regular show spaces. Many types of makes and models were in attendance, ranging from domestic muscle to European tuners.

The Waffle Bus was there to serve breakfast to the spectators. Everyone I talked to thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and waffle combination.

As more people began to arrive, the merchandise table opened up, featuring products such as decals, t-shirts, and lanyards, and the DJ was getting into his groove.

I chatted with a few friends before taking some more photos once inside the shop. The turnout was looking decent considering the weather. Everyone was enjoying the company as well as the music, but most importantly the cars.

Three of H-town’s finest exotics were posted up inside the shop. 2 Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse’s (2 of 15 TOTAL in the United States) and the Lamborghini Gallardo Supertrofeo Stradale. These three make for a wicked trio, being three special edition Lamborghini’s with abnormally large rear wings.

All in all, the event was a huge success as far as the turnout. Many car guys and gals came out and enjoyed themselves, and that’s all that we want. Be sure and be on the lookout as we plan on hosting more of these events very soon!
