The Acura NSX is revered as one of the top import cars for many in the automotive world. This month’s winner was one of the many. Tucker has always been into the JDM car scene and the NSX was the car that he had to own.
He began his search for one, and came across a NSX-T project car out of state. He traveled to pick up his new ride and start putting it back together. The car was mostly in pieces, most of the interior was removed, and it didn’t have door handles. He had a lot of work to do.
Not only was he able to find his dream car, but he was able to pick up a brand new sorcery body kit for the NSX. This made the deal even sweeter for him. Tucker joked that “the NSX has always been that unicorn for me, so to be able to do a wide body was just like me having my cake and eating it to.”
After spending a lot of time putting the NSX-T back together, and with a few modifications, his unicorn was complete. A few years back I first spotted this beauty at our old Fall Bash meet, and then at Wekfest 2013. This NSX-T was like stories of unicorns, it vanished for a while hiding in its forest.
When this NSX did show up to events, many people flocked around to take a closer look. I would say he did a good job piecing this ride back together. Will this unicorn vanish again, or will it be making some more appearances around town. I guess only time will tell.
