Last month, I headed over to Happy Teahouse for the NonStopTuning’s meet. This was their last “day meet” on Sunday for the winter season. The weather had a bit of rain in the forecast, but so far it was looking clear, so we made the trip anyways.
We arrived early to set up a table with a few Houston Streets goodies and girl scout cookies. After setting up our area, I walked around the meet to start my coverage. As usual, we had the face off between Houston Z’s and Houston 86 Club on the side of Happy Teahouse. DJ Mik One was already set up working the tables.
The weather was actually pretty good, cool and cloudy but no rain or sun… for the most part. There was a brief period of some light rain for a while. After that, it stayed cloudy but it was clear from rain. Throughout the meet, more rides kept coming as usual, some left while others were just arriving.
Back by popular demand, was a few round of musical chairs. This has been a big hit at the meets. My son played a few rounds once again scoring a win as well. Music, games, food, drinks and plenty of cars… I say this was pretty good.
We stayed for the majority of the meet, leaving a little early. Event with the rain, this was another great meet hosted by NST. This was their last day meet with winter season coming to an end, which means the meets switched back to friday nights with the warmer weather approaching. Stay tune for more…
