With Houston Coffee and Cars being pushed back due to weather, it was rescheduled to the same date as Towne Lake Cars and Coffee holds their gathering. Instead of competing or even postponing it to another weekend, the meet was held on the following Sunday instead. Regular participates of this gathering only had to wait one more day, which ended up being better weather than the original scheduled Saturday.
I headed out to Towne Lake Boardwalk to be greeted by a good sized crowd already at the gathering. This was the best turn out I have seen so far. I didn’t even bother bringing out my ride this month, so after I parked in the spectator side, grabbed my gear, and headed over to start my coverage.
I started my coverage towards the entrance of the section used for display and worked my way row-by-row. The goal was to hopefully capture at least one shot of each ride, but that doesn’t always happen. Some cars end up making it out before I get to their spot. Either way, I was able to get a good amount of the rides out here in front of my camera for a quick snap before heading back to my ride to swap out lenses. Afterward, I went back around the lot to take some extra, more artistic style shots before the end of the meet came.
Towne Lake Cars and Coffee is typically held on the second Saturday of each month from 8 am till 10 am at the Boardwalk Towne Lake in Cypress. This might be a new regular meet for me, I might see you at the next one. See more photos in the complete Towne Lake Cars and Coffee gallery.
